The Eagle!

Ok, there is nothing stunning about this shot from a photographic perspective. This one is not about the photography. What you are looking at is an American bald eagle and the picture was taken today in Chippewa Twp. The bird was “out of range' for my camera but I still wanted to share it here.

This is the first eagle I personally have seen in the wild. It was a special moment for me as I can recall when these eagles were placed on the endangered species list in 1967. Our national bird was removed from the list in 2007.

Maybe I will get better pictures in the future but this was just a “moment” for me!
