Oh Deer!

Today a walk in the woods produced non typical photo opportunity. While walking I came upon a deer skeleton. Looking at it I would estimate the bones had been there for over a year. There was no flesh or hair, just the bones.

Had this deer escaped after being shot by a hunter, had it been hit by a car, did the deer die of natural causes? We will never know!
