One of the joys of photography is the ability to capture and image and review the details of the scene.
This particular image is a bit abstract. It was taken in Downtown Rittman and as you can see it is a manhole cover. I am not sure that these things ever “wear out” so its safe to say this one has been around quite a long time.
It was not until I returned home and viewed the image that I noticed the cap from a water bottle was also in the scene.
I think it is safe to say that the person who was working on Rittman’s water and sewer system years ago would have never guessed that its residents would one day buy bottles of water from the store.
